I think that login for comments is a big time comment stopper. You wouldn&#039;t get all the quick and casual comments.

Personally I find it almost offensive that people demand registration for comments.

The solution could be, that all blogging platforms shared the same &#039;single-site&#039; login, so a cookie identified your session across all weblogs where you have been registered.

Logging in at acutecut.com would mean loggin in at dalager.com -- given that you had registered with same login/password both places.

Does it make any sense?
